The love of a birth place
You can love you're homeland but, what defines a homeland? You can love your birth place but, your birth place is the few square meters of space you were born on. The hospital bed, the room in a house or a random space with a wild story for the human who brought you into the world went into labor in an expected situation. Just those few square meters are your birth place. For those who know me, know that when I moved as a teen very stubbornly holding on to the desire to see the place I was born in, I moved to Delano. Not California. Not United States of America. Delano. My very first job was at the pharmacy in Delano located in the hospital I was born in. There is sense of attraction my body holds to that piece of land in this vast wide world I can never explain.
