Self-image.

I know not why people say,

Like most writers, my writings depict my self-image. 

one is always biased about oneself;
Why, I ask you
can one not be self aware,
Why, can one not
have an honest image
of one self,
Why, can one not
know one's follies,
Why, one can not
know one's humble virtues;
Why, must one
have a low self esteem,
if one acknowledges
one's faults;
Why, shall one
always be big-headed,
for being aware of
one's good traits;
Why, shall one
only be humble,
for down playing oneself;
Why, must one
always be a narcissist,
for loving oneself;
Why, can't one
be well balanced,
love one and all,
including themselves;
Why, can't one
have a proper opinion,
true and honest.
of oneself;
Why shall one's self-image,
always be dictated
by everyone else?
