Could have opened my eyes
but the dream was so beautiful
Could have gotten up and ventured out
but the blanket was so comfortable
Could've talked to people
but the silence was so peaceful
Could've conquered the world
but my heart was so content
Once upon a time, said the lazy human
swinging in a hammock
to the pixies frolicking by
but the pixies love mischief
and awoken the darkest fantasies
which the Human choose to follow
and destroyed the peaceful tendencies
We could've avoided the whole debacle
of destroying the entire planet
but temptation was more inviting
than the honesty that has slowly vanished.
